While they’ve lived in multiple parts of the world, Amruta Deshpande and Aparna Padhye retain a deep-seated love for the food they grew up eating in the western region of India. Their food truck, Marathi Masala, gives them a chance to pursue that passion in a tangible way. Using recipes passed down for generations, these two women are committed to sharing their culture with the residents of Charlotte, NC.
